Why can’t I keep up with my blog? Blogging is something I have wanted to do since before there were blogs. I think I have come up with a couple of reasons…
Growing up, one of the hardest school subjects for me was grammar. Things didn’t get much better in college with all of the essay writing. Perhaps I am looking at blogging as an area in which I will be harshly critiqued. However, I really don’t feel that is the nature of blogging and that most people are kind souls who have walked down some of the same roads and are fighting the same battles.
Another reason would be, I live a very quiet life and just can’t imagine the little things that make up my day would fascinate anyone. I live a HAPPY life but feel sure that those of you reading this probably live a much more EXCITING life.
So for now… I have decided to ignore the little voices that warn me from sharing… the little voices that tell me no one is interested in seeing my little pieces of art (probably due to a few bad “show and tell” episodes), or hearing about me re-arranging yet another room. I’ll just write what my soul needs to spill forth and hope that it speaks to someone.

Glad to hear you will be blogging more...I love hearing about your little piece of the world, seeing your art or whatever else you want to share!

Whether you lead an exciting life or a quiet life, we want to know more about what's going on with you - that is why I follow your blog. Every little snippet you write, each tiny piece of information you pass on, I treasure.

You know what I love about blogging, Joy? (I know, you didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway). It's that when it all comes down to it, I am doing it for me. I avoid sitemeters and try to avoid worrying about who's visited or what they might think of me, or any of that. I always say that what I love most is that I can make up words (and use them in a sentence!) and write ridiculous things and use ridiculous grammar and no one yells at me LOL. Well, no one except Spell-Check. And I ignore it most of the time LOL.
When I share details of my own quiet little life, it's not because I think it's so exciting or exotic that others will be terribly interested...really I'm amusing myself by seeing what I do there on a "page".
Your photos (of your quiet life!) are beautiful and it's fun to see what you've been working on, and I'd never guess you were ever frustrated with grammar or essays.
Your quietly tongue-in-cheek writing style makes me smile and the whole layout is a treat for the eyes.
I hope you are having fun blogging because I have fun reading it...when I remember to stop by!
Take care!
